Fun toy
My 3yr old son just got this toy for Christmas. Since we'd read the reviews, we knew in advance to get the mini's needed. Target had a 6 pack on clearance so we got a break there. He's really enjoyed running them over and making the Banshee "talk". I would recommend this to anyone that has a Cars fan at home.

Better Than I Expected
I have to say when my 4 y.o. son insisted this was *THE* thing he wanted for his birthday I was not impressed. He had seen the ads on TV, so I took him to the store to see it in the package, hoping he would decide it wasn't so great afterall. Not the case, he loved it even more.

I think the main reason I didn't want to buy it was because it seemed cheaply made: lightweight plastic, not as realistically painted as advertising made it appear, etc. I was also thought the price seemed a little too high, and I didn't like the fact that you have to buy additional mini's (Disney / Pixar CARS Movie Toy Mini Adventures 2-Pack) for the Banshee to "eat".

I did end up buying it though and it's actually been more durable than I expected. The fins that feed the cars inside the Banshee are flexible rubber and firmly attached, so no problems with those breaking as I thought they might. No other problems either. However, it was largely ignored for 3 days in favor of Fisher Price: Imaginext Gorilla Mountain, and since has only been played with for short amounts of time.

Pixar CARS Banshee Playset

I purchased this for my grandson who is 4 years old. It was something he asked for. I wish I had listened to other reviews. It comes with one car and you have to buy other mini cars for it to work. I could only find 3 in a package. Then you had to replace the batteries right away because the ones that come with it are for demonstration purposes only. It requires 3 button batteries at $5.95 each. I have tried it and find it hard to make it work. I hope my grandson likes it.
